Dr. Rick Bednarczyk was born in Invermere and lived in Radium until graduating from high school. He, his wife Kendra, children Darynn and Ryan feel privileged to live in the East Kootenay and enjoy many of the outdoor activities the area has to offer. Dr. Bednarczyk particularly enjoys hunting, fishing, camping, ATV riding and dirt biking.
After graduating from David Thompson Secondary School in Invermere, Dr. Bednarczyk attended Mount Royal College in Calgary for one year. He then completed a Bachelor of Science, First Class Honor Zoology degree at the University of Alberta in Edmonton. He graduated from the University of Waterloo School of Optometry in 1997 and has practiced in Cranbrook ever since.
